Say CHEESE!!

So I tried to teach Haylee how to smile and how to frown. She does a great frown, I just love it. But her smile is a work in progress, she always squints her eyes all up. She is such a goofball!!!

1 month old

Jayna turned one month on the 24th. She is so much fun. She gets alittle colicky at night but nothing too serious. She sleeps really good at night, and pretty good through out the day as well. Pretty much she just eats, poops and sleeps but thats good for right now, it stills gives me time for Haylee.

Jayna Bree Hulse

Alot has happened since my last post, because I am not very good at blogging, but the main thing is the birth of our brand new baby girl. I was scheduled for a C-Section on Friday July 25th @ 5pm but I went shopping with my mom and sister at Ikea on Wednesday night, July 23rd, which probably caused my water to break later that night. Matt and I drove to the hospital and got there around 12am thursday morning. The nurses got me all preped and ready for surgery. Matt was not allowed into the room until I was all preped, I was pretty nervous when I found out he wasnt with me and was almost completely comforted when they let him come in. I couldnt have birth with out Matt there beside me. So Matt watched most of the surgery and Jayna was born at 1:56am Thursday July 24th, also known as Pioneer Day. Jayna wieghed 8pounds 2ounces and was 20inches long. My family helped watch Haylee while we were in the hospital. It was really cute when they would bring her in to visit. She didnt always pay much attention to the baby but she would get worried when the baby would cry and we would ask her "Where is Jayna" and she would point to the baby andshe would also give Jayna kisses. Life is a little crazy right now trying to get use to having two little girls but it is also a real blast.

Trip to Washington

Last weekend Traci, Haylee and I went to visit Daphne in Washington. We had a lot of fun. Haylee was great on the plane ride there, she loved looking out the window and just playing with her toys. Saturday Daphne took us to Pikes Market Place, we got to see tons of beautiful flowers, cheese, nuts fish etc... It was a busy place. That night we stayed up way late, played games and ate tons of food. Sunday we went on a Ferri to Kingston, drank some hot chocolate and ate some crepes. It was fun riding on the Ferri. That night we again stayed up way late, played games and ate tons of food. Monday Daphne took us to her work to meet everyone. She has some really nice coworkers and the Docotors office she works at looks like a really neat place to work. Then we packed up and headed for the airport. Once we got there we found out that the plane was delayed an hour. We were already early so we had about 2 1/2 hours to hang out at the airport. Haylee threw a few fits but we did end up finding a play area for kids. I swear Heavenly Father put it there just for us and it was going to diappear once we left. The plane ride home Haylee cried for the first 15mins which for pregnant mom was forever long so she started crying too. Poor Traci had to take care of two babies. But the flight attendant was really nice and took Haylee on a walk up and down the plane. The rest of the trip Haylee did great. Its good to be home but I miss Daphne and am so glad I got to see her. I am so excited for her, she seems so happy where she is.

Hiking

Afew weeks ago we went hiking with Haylee. Yep even big fat pregnant me went. We had such a blast!!! I had to take a lot of breaks so we would find a safe place and let Haylee down and play. She loves being outside. Oh for those of you who dont know yet we just found out that we are having another girl!!! We are so excited, now the two girls can be best of friends.

Messy

The rice was my moms doing and the spaghetti was Matts doing. Really it was Haylee making the mess but they were allowing it. The mess wasnt fun to clean but the pictures turned out great.
